Get Involved
Join the Young Footliters family!
We are a children's theatre in the heart of Coralville, and it takes a whole community to make this theatre possible! From performers to fundraisers, from technicians to musicians, there's a place for your family at Young Footliters. Check out the information below on how to get involved. For information on a specific production, you can visit the production page to learn more.
Take a Class!
We've got more than 50 years experience creating education programs, and we'd love to work with your family! Visit our Camps and Classes page to learn more about upcoming opportunities.
Join a Production!
Young Footliters offers four full-length productions each year, reaching students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. You can visit our Productions page to learn more about the current season, or read about ways to get involved below!
Audition
Everyone is welcome! Whether this is your first time auditioning or you've just completed your national tour, we'd love to have you in the Young Footliters family. Auditions are open to all.
To learn more about audition times and information, visit the production page for an upcoming show. If you have general questions about auditioning, we're happy to help! The easiest way to reach us is to e-mail Young Footliters. If you have questions about a specific audition or production, there's a contact listed on the production page. They'll be able to answer any questions you have.
Costume Days!
Our fabulous Young Footliters costumer Jackie Allen is always looking for a youth costume crew to help with upcoming productions!
We meet and work at the costume shop for 2 hour chunks to measure, cut, sew, and sort costume pieces. No experience necessary but must be at least 12 years old. If you have a sewing machine feel free to bring it but this is not a requirement. We are limiting each session to 5 youth but plan to offer more times if there is more interest.
To find more about upcoming Costume Days, and to sign up visit the Costume Days Signup
For questions, e-mail Evan Hilsabeck.
