Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance
The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts makes every effort possible to accommodate the needs of all members of the community, and is dedicated to complying fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Parking
Four wheelchair accessible parking spaces are located near the north entrance of the theater; the driveway in front of the north entrance can be used for drop-offs.
Restrooms
Restrooms, featuring wheelchair accessible stalls, are located on all three floors. Locations are easily reached by elevator.
Seating
Wheelchair accessible seating is located on both the orchestra and balcony levels. Please contact our Patron Services office at 319.248.9372 for information about purchasing tickets in the accessible seating areas.
We are happy to talk with our patrons at any time to determine the optimum
seating location for our guests, or to provide tours of the facility in advance of an event to help patrons determine their best seating location.
Sound
Assisted listing devices are available from our staff at the Guest Services Counter. We recommend letting Center staff know in advance if you will be requesting the use of an assisted listening device so that we may have it ready for you.
Stage
The stage is equipped with a lift enabling performers, speakers, and patrons who use wheelchairs to access the stage and orchestra pit.
